I don’t know if the dress will get finished in time but at least I tried. With so much work, the con and my friends being exhausted there was barely time to work on it. At least I got all the pieces cut out but it’s a complicated pattern I’d need help with to fully assemble. I’ll have to prepare another emergency outfit at least I can be excited about that but I’m a bit embarrassed after so many of my coworkers were so excited to see it I really wanted pink for the movie itself

Had a bit of a meltdown at my friends which I think was really good for me. I was just posting here and Facebook a bit on how I’m feeling. But I haven’t really properly vented to anybody. Having real words and affirmations was definitely something I desperately needed. Being reminded of how far I’ve come and how much things have changed and gotten better in a short amount of time. It’s a lot to take and a lot I haven’t really fully processed properly. I at least do feel a massive amount of the stress and just awful dragging feeling has alleviated

I have a young baby face. I know I have my “silly young 20 something problems”
But I am in fact going to be 26. I pay my bills and taxes. Don’t talk to me like I’m 16. I’m not anybody’s charity case or young thing that needs to be mentored. Too often people try to assume that role without even asking whether or not I actually asked.
It’s like people who are older immediately forget what it was like to be young and treated this way. I know. I look back on who I was even at 23 and cringe and laugh. That’s fine. I don’t know everything and 26 is incredibly young.
